Hanover Symposium

on 08.10.2022 in the Congress Center Herrenhausen Castle, Hanover

24.10.2022

Due to Corona pandemic, no live events were feasible in the last 2.5 years. Now, we were able to host our interdisciplinary educational event on 08.10.2022 in the state-of-the-art and beautiful conference center Schloss Herrenhausen in Hannover. The main focus of the event was the interdisciplinary treatment of cerebral tumors. Speakers from the disciplines of neurosurgery, oncology, radiotherapy and radiosurgery presented the current status and latest developments for the treatment of affected patients. More than 40 colleagues from different disciplines (neurosurgery, oncology, radiotherapy, ENT medicine, neurology, radiology) were represented and contributed to an extremely exciting discussion, which was further deepened at the concluding joint lunch. Many colleagues also took the opportunity to visit the MVZ Gamma Knife Center with the latest radiation equipment, the Gamma Knife ICON, and to see for themselves the treatment options and procedures for their patients at the Gamma Knife Center Hannover. All participants agreed: The interdisciplinary cooperation of the individual departments enables the best therapy option for each of our common patients.
